What We Believe & Why We Teach

Everything we do starts with one joyful, life-giving question: "What does God actually say?" — understood not through the fog of modern culture, but through the clear light of the ancient world in which it was lovingly written. Come discover the real, beautiful Word of God! 📖

The Inspired Word

We believe the entire Bible — Genesis to Revelation — is the inspired Word of God. "All Scripture is breathed out by God" — 2 Timothy 3:16.

Historical Context

Scripture must be interpreted through the lens of ancient cultures. We study the geography, customs, events, and politics of the era when each passage was written.

Discipleship First

Just as the Apostles sat under Jesus for three years, every believer must be firmly grounded in scripture before going out to evangelise.

The Great Commission

"Go into all the world and proclaim the Gospel." — Mark 16:15. But first, we must truly know what the Gospel is — all the way back from Genesis.

"Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved."

— Mark 16:15–16

Our Story

Why Africa? How It All Began.

1993 — The Search Begins

Rachel Alexander began reading the Bible cover to cover with one question: "What does God say?" She found that in many churches, what was being taught contradicted what God's Word actually said.

Years of Searching Across the USA

Church after church — Rachel found traditions of men and denominational lenses. Each denomination chose which scriptures to follow and which to ignore.

A Church Is Born

Rachel, Bishop Peter Kuria, Mwebaza Daniel, and a lifelong friend formed Rachel Alexander Ministries Global Alliance — incorporated as a non-profit in Washington State, USA.

Holy Spirit Speaks — "Start a School"

God spoke clearly to Rachel. Rachel Alexander Bible Training College was born — partnering with world-class instructors to teach the true Word in Nairobi, Kenya.

Ministry

"The Bible is a puzzle intricately woven from Genesis to Revelation. We plan to unravel misconceptions and place every scripture back into its true historical context."

— Rachel Alexander, Founder

Why We Started This College

The Bible Is a Puzzle — We Are Putting It Back Together

Throughout the centuries, people have twisted the Word of God into various facets of denominationalism — putting emphasis on some scriptures and completely eliminating others through their doctrinal beliefs.

The Bible is a puzzle intricately woven from Genesis to Revelation. We plan to unravel the misconceptions and false teachings and place the scriptures back into their historical contexts and true meanings.

Our Teaching Philosophy

What Did God Actually Say?

Scripture must be interpreted through the lens of ancient cultures and the meanings originally set forth — not through a modern-day cultural lens. It is one question and one question only:

"What does God say? Does it begin in the New Testament or all the way back in Genesis?"
Discipleship & Evangelism

Be Discipled Before You Go

We believe that before one evangelises, they must have a firm foundation in the scriptures. They must be discipled just as the Apostles sat under Jesus' feet for three years. But first — if we are to proclaim the Gospel, we must truly know what it is.

Mark 16:15–18

"Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved… and these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues… they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover."

Biblical Theology

The study of Biblical doctrines arranged according to their chronology and historical background — the full narrative arc of Scripture.

Christian Apologetics

Combating false doctrines that deny key truths of the Christian faith and equipping believers to confidently defend what they believe.

Street Ministry & Outreach

Timmy's Heart Ministry

Timmy's Heart Ministry is a street ministry dedicated to reaching people at the lowest point of their lives — those battling alcoholism, drug addiction, homelessness, and every struggle that puts a person on the streets. Who We Reach

The Streets Are Our Church

We believe no one is too far gone for the redemptive power of God's Word. We don't wait for people to walk through a church door — we go to alleys, street corners, shelters, and rehabilitation centres. We see every street person as someone loved by God and worthy of the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.

Alcoholism & Drunkenness

Reaching those consumed by alcohol on the streets, offering the Word of God as the true, lasting source of sobriety and healing — not just a programme, but a Saviour.

Drug Addiction & Substance Abuse

Going directly to those trapped by drugs — crack, heroin, prescription abuse, and more — with gospel-centred outreach, prayer, counselling, and discipleship.

Homelessness & Street Living

Ministering to those living on the streets due to poverty, addiction, or broken circumstances — meeting practical needs while sharing the hope of the Gospel.

Broken Families & Lost Hope

Reaching those who have lost everything — family, dignity, and hope — and showing them through the Word of God that restoration is real and possible.

Gospel Preaching & Discipleship

Every outreach is grounded in the clear, uncompromised preaching of the Word of God — the only power that truly and permanently sets people free.
